These terms cover your use of harborlinesec.com (the "site"). The site is run by SecurityBlox LLC, which does business as Harborline ("Harborline", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What the site is for

The site explains Harborline's security and HIPAA services for healthcare practices, offers free checklists, and lets you contact us or book a call. Nothing on the site is legal advice, and reading it does not make you a client. Client work happens only under a signed agreement.

2. Please do not send patient information

Do not enter patient names, dates of birth, chart details, or any other protected health information (PHI) in our forms, in the chat box, or by phone. Our phone line is for sales and scheduling only. When we work with a client's PHI, we do it under a signed Business Associate Agreement and outside this site.

3. Checklists and other content

You may download, print, and use our checklists and articles inside your own organization. Please do not resell them or publish them as your own. We own the site content and the Harborline name and logo.

4. No guarantee

We work to keep the site accurate and current, but the site and its content are provided "as is". Using a checklist or article does not guarantee any security, insurance, payer, or regulatory outcome. Descriptions and timelines on the site reflect typical engagements. Fees are quoted in writing in your proposal or statement of work. The signed proposal or statement of work (each a "signed client agreement" for purposes of these Terms) sets the final fee, scope and timeline, and governs if it differs from anything on the site.

5. Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Harborline is not responsible for losses that come from using the site or its free content. If we are found responsible anyway, our total responsibility for site use is limited to $100. This does not change anything in a signed client agreement.

6. Other services

Some links lead to services we use, such as Calendly for booking. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Privacy

How we handle information from the site is explained on our Privacy page (harborlinesec.com/privacy).

8. Changes

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

9. Law

These terms follow the laws of the State of Idaho.
